Sentani Airport (IATA: DJJ, ICAO: WAJJ) located in Sentani District, Jayapura. Traffic passengers’ data between 2011 and 2017 shows that passenger traffic growth rate of 9,4% per year. From the estimated number of passengers when compared to the total area of the terminal existing 14.300 m2, then the Level of Service (LoS) is D. Which is does not meet the minimum service standards required, that is C. So, the Sentani Airport terminal needs to be expanded with whole support facilities within airport area. The expansion of the terminal building 11.700 sqm include curb side, adjustment of existing terminal with the expansion terminal, expansion of parking area, design airport gate, landscape and hardscape design, drainage, along with other terminal supporting facilities.
Description of actual services provided within the assignment
Performing site surveys, land measurements, investigations of existing utility networks and soil investigations
Performing forecast calculations for domestic and international passengers, both the number of passengers during peak hours and number of annual passengers, performing calculations of space requirements, calculating MEEP equipment needs.
Making of basic design Sentani Airport Expansion according to the Masterplan
Design Expansion of terminal (structure, architecture, mechanical and plumbing facilities, electrical facilities, airport electronics facilities, design of concessions, airport signage, interior and lighting, fixed bridge and terminal supporting facilities)
Adjustment of existing with the new terminals, include with the revitalization of affected space
Facility expansion and arrangement of parking 4,4 hectare include access road to terminal building and other facilities such as airport gates (toll gate in and toll gate out)
Mchanical design (VAC with water cooled chiller system, Sewage Treatment Plant with extended aeration system, Ground Water Tank with hydrofor, Aviobridge, Baggage Handling System, Passanger Mover System, etc.)
Electrical Design (Medium voltage cubicle with looping system, Automatic Closed Transfer System for Medium voltage, Genset, Transformer, LVMDB with 4 transformers incoming and make the logic control, Special lighting, lightning protection, grounding, kWh meter server system, etc)
Design IT system for terminal (Public Address System, Fire Alarm, Building Automation System, Access Control, Data Network, PABX & Telephone, Flight Information Display System & Automatic Announcement System, CCTV, master clock, IPTV, airport Wi-Fi, internet Corner, Airport Operation Command Center).
Performing EE, BoQ, ToR, outline specification, timeline, and prepare documents for construction tenders.
